Why metabolism comes first
Hormones don’t operate in isolation. They respond to metabolic signals, especially how your body processes glucose and insulin.
When metabolic function is supported, the body is better able to regulate ovulation, energy, mood, and hormone signaling. When it’s impaired, symptoms like irregular cycles, cravings, fatigue, and mood swings often appear, even when blood work looks “normal.”
Bodology® Inositol is designed to support metabolic pathways that influence hormonal balance at the root.
What Bodology® Inositol supports
Inositol helps your body respond to insulin, the silent driver behind PCOS, fertility struggles, mood shifts, and blood sugar crashes.
When taken consistently, inositol has been clinically studied to support:
- Healthy ovulation and cycle regularity*
- Hormone balance associated with PCOS*
- Insulin sensitivity and healthy blood sugar levels†
- Metabolic function linked to appetite regulation and weight balance†
- Sleep and energy regulation*
- Neurotransmitter signaling linked to mood and emotional balance*

Every batch, independently verified
Bodology's formula and label are reviewed by qualified professionals — including a Registered Dietitian (RD) and advisors holding MS and PhD credentials — so the ingredients, doses, and claims are accurate and responsibly stated.
Bodology is tested independently — we don't grade our own work. Every production batch is sent to Certified Laboratories, an ISO/IEC 17025-accredited testing lab, and analyzed against written specifications before it can be sold. ISO/IEC 17025 is the international standard for laboratory competence and data integrity.
We use HPLC analytical testing to confirm the identity of each active — verifying that what's in the tub is genuinely myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol, not a substitute or mislabeled material.
HPLC confirms that each batch contains myo-inositol and D-chiro-inositol at the labeled amounts — and that the 40:1 ratio is correct in the finished powder, not only in the formula. Because the two are isomers, HPLC separates and measures each one individually.
Every batch is tested for heavy metals by ICP-MS — arsenic, cadmium, mercury, and lead — and must fall within established safety limits before release. ICP-MS detects these metals down to trace levels, well below the limits set for dietary supplements.
Every batch is screened for microbial safety: total aerobic count, total yeast and mold, and the absence of specified pathogens — E. coli, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. A batch only ships if it meets every limit.
The 40:1 ratio of myo-inositol to D-chiro-inositol is the ratio used in published clinical research. We confirm this ratio in the finished powder by HPLC, so it matches the studied formulation.
Bodology is blended, filled, and packaged in the United States.

HOW INOSITOL WORKS
1. Supports insulin signaling
Your metabolic foundation
Inositol plays a role in insulin signaling, helping the body respond more effectively to insulin.* This supports steadier blood sugar levels and reduces the metabolic stress that can disrupt hormones.
2. Supports ovulation and cycle regularity
Less guessing
Healthy insulin signaling supports ovarian function and ovulation.* That’s why inositol has been widely studied in women with irregular cycles and PCOS-related hormone imbalances.*
3. Helps regulate cravings and appetite
Steadier blood sugar, fewer crashes
By supporting insulin sensitivity, inositol may help reduce blood sugar swings that drive intense cravings and energy crashes.*
4. Supports mood and emotional balance
Metabolism and brain chemistry are connected
Inositol is involved in neurotransmitter signaling linked to mood regulation and emotional steadiness.*

ABOUT INOSITOL
What is inositol and how does it work?
Inositol is a naturally occurring compound that plays a key role in insulin signaling, hormone balance, and neurotransmitter function. It's often categorized as a B-vitamin-like nutrient and has been widely researched for its role in PCOS, fertility, and metabolic health.
Can you get inositol from diet alone?
Inositol is found in foods like citrus fruit, beans, and cantaloupe—but only in small amounts. You’d need to eat around 8 melons a day to match the dosage in 2 scoops of Bodology. Modern farming practices have also reduced food-based inositol levels.
What is GLUT4?
GLUT4 is a protein that helps transport glucose into cells where it can be used for energy. Inositol supports optimal GLUT4 activation, which can improve glucose metabolism.
How long does it take to see results?
Every body is different, but many users report changes in energy, cravings, mood, or cycle regularity within 4–8 weeks. Clinical studies show menstrual regularity and ovulation can return within 3 months in 85% of PCOS cases*
IS THIS SAFE TO TAKE WITH PRENATALS OR GLP-1S?
Yes. Inositol is a single-ingredient supplement, not a hormone, and is generally well tolerated alongside prenatals or metabolic medications like GLP-1s. Learn more about how inositol can support your GLP-1 journey here. As always, confirm with your healthcare provider.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
Inositol has a strong safety record. A small number of people may experience mild bloating or digestive shifts in the first few days. Starting with 1 scoop and building up may help.
IS INOSITOL RIGHT FOR ME?
How does inositol help with PCOS?
Inositol helps address the metabolic root cause in 80% of PCOS cases: insulin resistance. Studies show it can restore ovulation, lower testosterone, reduce cravings, and rebalance cycles—often outperforming metformin, with fewer side effects. Download our metabolic health guide for PCOS written in collaboration with Hillary Wright, Registered Dietitian and Author of "The PCOS Diet Plan," with over 30+ years of clinical experience.
Can inositol support fertility goals?
Inositol improves egg quality, ovulation, and hormone balance. In ART cycles like IVF, it boosts embryo quality and pregnancy rates by up to 34%. Download our metabolic health guide for fertility written in collaboration with Hillary Wright, Registered Dietitian and Author of "The PCOS Diet Plan," with over 30+ years of clinical experience.
Does it help with weight or cravings?
Inositol supports metabolic balance by improving blood sugar and insulin signaling, which can influence hunger, energy, and where fat is stored. In clinical study, inositol was shown to accelerate fat loss whilst preserving lean muscle, an important factor for long term results. Improvements in hip-to-waist ratio were also seen. Learn how inositol can support your weight loss journey here. Plus, download our metabolic health protocol for sustainable weight loss, written with Tina Kozman, CNP and Metabolic Health Expert.
Could it influence mood, stress, or PMDD?
Inositol participates in neurotransmitter pathways like serotonin and GABA. Some clinical studies and user experiences suggest it may support mood resilience, particularly during menstrual cycles or PMS phases.
Can I take this if I don’t have PCOS?
Absolutely. Inositol supports insulin sensitivity, energy, mood, metabolic function, and weight regulation in both PCOS and non-PCOS women.
Can I take Inositol while pregnant?
Inositol is sometimes used during pregnancy, especially in gestational metabolic contexts. However, you should always consult your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement during pregnancy.
